Kusamba ferry port lies on the east coast of Bali in Indonesia. From here you can reach Nusa Penida. A ferry leaves up to 16 times a day. The crossing takes around 15 minutes. The port is served by The Angkal Fast Cruise.
Getting there and the terminal
The berth is on Jalan Raya Kusamba in the village of Kusamba, Dawan district, Klungkung Regency. From Ubud the drive takes around 60 minutes, from Denpasar airport 75 to 90 minutes and from Padang Bai about 20 minutes. The port has parking for cars and motorcycles, and a jetty leads straight to the boats.
Kusamba is a small, quiet departure point and, for anyone coming from the east of Bali, the shortest way to Nusa Penida. On the other side you land at Sampalan on the island's north coast, at the Segitiga Emas port building in Batununggul. Departure times can shift with conditions in the port and at sea, so it is worth checking the current timetable again on the day you travel.
