Ferries to Kyrenia

The ferry port of Kyrenia is on the north coast of Cyprus and is the island's sea link to the southern coast of Turkey. From here you can reach Tasucu and Anamur. Together the services add up to as many as 6 departures a day. Crossings take between 2 and 6 hours. The port is served by Akgunler Denizcilik.

Both destinations are on the Turkish Mediterranean coast, and both routes are run by the same operator. The difference lies in the journey time: Anamur takes around two hours, Tasucu around six. The bulk of the departures go to Tasucu, while the service to Anamur runs less often.

For your planning that means the short route to Anamur is the faster one but the thinner; if you want to stay flexible, plan via Tasucu. Both routes together add up to as many as 6 departures a day, so the return journey can usually be fitted into the same day.
