The ferry port of Les Saintes is on Terre-de-Haut, the main island of the Îles des Saintes off the south coast of Guadeloupe. From here you can reach Trois Rivieres, Les Saintes Terre-de-Bas and Pointe a Pitre. Together the routes run up to 31 departures a day. Crossings take between 15 minutes and an hour. The port is served by CTM Deher, FRS Alizes and L’Express Des Iles.

Getting there and the terminal

The berth that the operators simply call Les Saintes is on Terre-de-Haut. That matters, because the archipelago also includes Terre-de-Bas, a separate island with its own berth, which you can reach from here in a quarter of an hour. A ticket to Les Saintes therefore takes you to Terre-de-Haut, not necessarily to wherever you are staying.

There are two ways back to Guadeloupe, and they differ sharply in character. Trois-Rivières on the south coast of Basse-Terre is half an hour away, and the frequency is high enough for a day trip in either direction. Pointe-à-Pitre takes an hour, but it puts you straight into the largest town of the département: that service, however, runs only on certain days and with few departures, so it is no fallback if you have a flight to catch.
