Ferries to Levanzo

Levanzo ferry port lies on the smallest of the Aegadian Islands off the west coast of Sicily, which belongs to the municipality of Favignana. From here you reach Trapani in 45 minutes, the neighbouring island of Favignana in a quarter of an hour, Marettimo in half an hour, and Marsala. Together the connections add up to as many as 81 departures a day, and crossings take between 15 and 45 minutes. The port is served by Liberty Lines and Siremar.

Getting there and the terminal

Everything is handled on the quay. Liberty Lines keeps a ticket desk right at the Porto di Levanzo, staffed daily from 6.40am to 9.30pm; that is the place for tickets, rebookings and information. If you travel with your own vehicle, leave it on the mainland: since 2024 the municipality of Favignana has enforced a landing ban on vehicles belonging to non-residents, based on a decree of the Italian transport ministry and applying to the summer season. The checks have been extended from Favignana to Levanzo and Marettimo.

Check-in

Liberty Lines requires you to be at the boarding point no later than 15 minutes before the scheduled departure; after that, carriage is no longer guaranteed. You check in with the ground staff before boarding, and ticket and ID have to be shown. For international routes the operator names 45 minutes; on the Aegadian Islands the quarter of an hour stands.
