The ferry port of Liepaja lies on the Latvian Baltic coast, in the northern part of the country's third largest city. From here you reach Travemünde on one of the longest scheduled ferry routes in the Baltic. A ferry leaves up to 2 times a day. The crossing takes around 21 hours. The port is served by Stena Line.

Getting there and the terminal

The terminal is at Brīvostas iela 14A, LV-3405. By car you come in from the east on the A9 or from the south on the A11. From the railway station it is about half an hour on foot. Bus lines 10 and 11 stop at Silku iela, from where it is another 25 to 30 minutes' walk. The terminal has about 20 unguarded parking spaces, short-term parking is free, and there is a drop-off area. Inside the building you will find ticket sales, a waiting area, toilets, free wi-fi and assistance for travellers with reduced mobility.

Check-in

Stena Line closes check-in 60 minutes before the scheduled departure, with a vehicle and on foot alike. The desk is only staffed around departures, and the times change from one weekday to the next: on some days it does not open until late in the evening, on others early in the morning. Check the opening time for your day of travel before you set off.
