Maiori lies on the Amalfi Coast in the province of Salerno and is one of the few places on the coast with a broad, unbroken plain of beach. For travellers the berth is above all a way around the coast road: from here you can reach 7 destinations, among them Amalfi in a quarter of an hour, Salerno in half an hour and Positano in an hour, plus Minori, Cetara, Vietri sul Mare and Capri in an hour and a half. Getting there and the terminal
There is no need to look for a terminal building here: passengers are handled on the seafront promenade. Alicost runs its sales point in Maiori on Via Giovanni Amendola right by the water, and the operator's call centre is staffed daily from 8:00 to 19:00. The ships on the Amalfi Coast do not carry vehicles; the services are passenger-only.
Check-in
Alicost and Travelmar both require you to be at the berth at least 15 minutes before the scheduled departure, even with a ticket already bought. Alicost also points out that you must carry an identity document; anyone needing help boarding should say so when booking and be there an hour in advance.
