Mali Losinj ferry port is on the island of Losinj in the Croatian Kvarner Gulf. From here you can reach 9 destinations, among them Cesenatico, Ilovik Island and Pesaro. Together the services add up to as many as 18 departures a day. Crossings take between 30 minutes and 4.75 hours. The port is served by Gomo Viaggi, Jadrolinija, Krilo Kapetan Luka and Liberty Lines.
Getting there and the terminal
By car you do not reach Losinj on a direct ferry but by way of the neighbouring island of Cres. From the Istrian mainland you cross on the Brestova - Porozina route, from the island of Krk on the Valbiska - Merag route; both crossings take 20 to 25 minutes. From Cres the road runs south to Osor, where a bascule bridge connects the two islands. It is opened for shipping every day at 9am and 5pm, and road traffic stops while it is: plan around those windows. A second bascule bridge is at Privlaka in Mali Losinj itself.
The only through car ferry from the mainland comes from Zadar. Jadrolinija does not leave from the city harbour there but from the ferry port of Gazenica south of the centre, calling at the islands of Ist, Olib, Silba and Premuda on the way to Mali Losinj. Without a car the catamaran is the faster choice: it links Mali Losinj with Rijeka, Cres and the small islands of Unije, Susak and Ilovik.
