The ferry port of Malolo Island is in Fiji. From here you reach Denarau. A ferry leaves up to 6 times a day. The crossing takes around an hour. The port is served by South Sea Cruises.
Getting there and the terminal
Malolo is one of the Mamanuca Islands off the west coast of Viti Levu. The mainland end of the route is the Port Denarau Terminal west of Nadi, and South Sea Cruises brings its passengers there free of charge by bus from most hotels in Nadi, Wailoaloa and on Denarau, provided the transfer is booked in advance. Nadi airport is 25 kilometres away according to the resort. In the morning and at midday the catamaran calls at other islands and then takes around two hours; in the afternoon it runs direct and takes 55 minutes. So do not choose by departure time alone.
Check-in
South Sea Cruises requires you to report to its own desk in the Port Denarau Terminal 30 minutes before departure. Be prepared for the arrival: most resorts have no pier, passengers are brought ashore by tender, and you can get wet in the process. Bring shoes you can slip off quickly.
