- Anleger auf Mana (Mamanuca); Festlandsende Port Denarau Terminal
The ferry port of Mana Island is in Fiji. From here you reach Denarau. A ferry leaves up to 6 times a day. The crossing takes around 1.25 hours. The port is served by South Sea Cruises.
Getting there and the terminal
Mana is one of the Mamanuca Islands off the west coast of Viti Levu and one of the few that South Sea Cruises also serves as a day trip: departure from the Port Denarau Terminal at 8:30 am, a good hour's sailing, around seven hours on the island and back at Port Denarau at 6 pm. The mainland end of the route is therefore always Port Denarau, west of Nadi. From most hotels in Nadi, Wailoaloa and on Denarau the operator takes you there free of charge by bus, provided you book the transfer in advance.
Check-in
South Sea Cruises requires you to report to the desk in the Port Denarau Terminal 30 minutes before departure. Be prepared for there not to be a pier everywhere at the other end: at most resorts tenders bring passengers ashore, and your feet occasionally get wet. Shoes you can slip off quickly are the better choice. On Mana itself the resort does not take cash, only cards.
