The ferry port of Manfredonia lies on the Gulf of Manfredonia in Apulia, on the southern edge of the Gargano peninsula. From here you can reach San Nicola in the Tremiti Islands. Ferries leave up to 2 times a day. The crossing takes around 3 hours. The port is served by Navi Tremiti.
Getting there and the terminal
The ferry does not leave from the old town's seafront promenade but from the western mole of the commercial port, the banchina di ponente. The berth is level with the Bar L'Approdo, and the address is Molo di Ponente. There is parking around the harbour, free as well as paid. Boarding only takes place with the ship securely moored, over gangways with handrails and accompanied by the crew; dedicated staff are assigned to travellers with reduced mobility.
Check-in
Navi Tremiti expects foot passengers at the berth no later than 60 minutes before departure. Because the route is a pure summer service that runs only a few weeks a year, it is worth checking your travel date against the current timetable beforehand.
