Tepe, Marmaris, Muğla

Marmaris ferry port lies in the province of Muğla in Turkey. From here you can reach Rhodes. A ferry leaves up to 8 times a day. The crossing takes around an hour. The port is served by Sea Dreams.

Getting there and the terminal

The ferry berth belongs to the cruise port east of the centre, behind the Netsel Marina on Mustafa Münir Elgin Bulvarı, on the road to the Günnücek national park. From the town centre it is around ten minutes on foot. If you would rather not walk, take the pink-marked dolmuş minibuses towards Yalancı Boğaz; there is a taxi rank at the port itself.

Check-in

Rhodes is in the EU and Marmaris is not, so clearance takes longer here than on a domestic ferry. Plan to be at the terminal an hour before departure: first you check in and are issued the boarding pass, without which you will not get through passport control. Check-in closes 30 minutes before departure. Keep your passport to hand, not in your suitcase.
