Mastichari ferry port is on Kos in Greece. From here you can reach Kalymnos and Pserimos. Together the services run up to 16 departures a day. Crossings take between 15 and 45 minutes. The port is served by Anem Ferries and Lafasi. Kalymnos is the main destination and is served all year; the boats to Pserimos run only on certain days of the week.
Getting there and the terminal
Mastichari is a small coastal village, and the berth is right in the middle of it, between the beach, the cafés and the fish tavernas. Kos airport is only a good seven kilometres away, which makes this port more practical than the main harbour in Kos town if you are arriving by plane.
By bus you come from the central KTEL station on Kleopatras street in Kos town. The journey takes 35 to 45 minutes and runs through fields and small villages before the coast, with Kalymnos opposite, comes into view at the end; the bus stops near the harbour and the beach. KTEL also serves Mastichari from the airport and from several villages on the island, far less often in winter than in summer. A taxi from Kos town or the airport is the faster, if less frugal, alternative.
