The ferry port of Milos is at Adamas on the large natural bay of the Cycladic island. From here you can reach 20 destinations, among them Piraeus, Sifnos and Serifos. Together the services add up to as many as 60 departures a day. Crossings take between 30 minutes and 16.75 hours: neighbouring Kimolos is half an hour away, Piraeus around four hours, Heraklion on Crete a good five. The port is served by Cyclades Fast Ferries, Hellenic Seaways, Minoan Lines and SeaJets.
Getting there and the terminal
The berth is around 100 metres from the centre of Adamas; the bus stop and the taxi rank are about 50 metres away. The port has one landing stage and a passenger terminal of 250 square metres, and it operates around the clock 365 days a year. The island's airport is about 4.5 kilometres away.
Check-in
Hellenic Seaways asks you to be in the boarding area at least one hour before departure, by car as well as on foot. Tickets are not issued on board.
