Naples ferry port is in Campania in Italy, with the berths in the Municipalità 1 district. From here you can reach 22 destinations, among them Ischia, Capri and Procida. Together the services add up to as many as 244 departures a day. Crossings take between 45 minutes and 16.5 hours. The port is served by 10 operators, among them Alicost, Alilauro and Caremar. Alongside the dense traffic into the bay, the long routes to Palermo and Cagliari also start here.

Getting there and the terminal

The port is spread over several berths, and the right one depends on the operator. The fast boats to the islands in the bay and to the Amalfi Coast leave from Molo Beverello, the terminal for the fast services in the middle of the centre. Caremar has ticket desks both at Molo Beverello and at Calata Porta di Massa. GNV ships use Calata Piliero: boarding at Piazzale Molo Pisacane 1, ticket office at Piazzale Immacolatella Vecchia 1. By car, take the Via Marina and Molo Pisacane exits, signposted Porto di Napoli, Imbarco GNV. On metro Linea 1, get off at Municipio or Toledo.

Check-in

GNV asks foot passengers to be at the berth 90 minutes and drivers two hours before departure; check-in closes 45 minutes before departure. The fast boats need less: Alilauro states 30 minutes before the scheduled departure.
