The ferry port of Odden is on the south coast of the Sjællands Odde peninsula in the north-west of Zealand, on the Kattegat. It is the fast link between Zealand and Jutland and saves you several hours compared with the overland route via Funen. From here you can reach Aarhus and Ebeltoft. Together the routes run up to 22 departures a day, and crossings take between 1.25 and 1.5 hours. The port is served by Molslinjen. The weight lies clearly on the Aarhus route; far fewer ships sail to Ebeltoft, and not on every day of the week.
Getting there and the terminal
The ferry port is at Oddenvej 388, 4583 Sjællands Odde, at the end of the peninsula. The car parks at the port are run by Q-Park; you can pay by card or through the usual parking apps.
Check-in
Molslinjen works to tight deadlines: cars, motorhomes, car-and-trailer combinations and motorbikes must be checked in 10 minutes before departure, and foot passengers 10 minutes as well. For coaches it is a quarter of an hour, for articulated lorries 20 minutes. If you need help boarding or are travelling in a disabled-adapted vehicle, report 30 minutes before departure.
