The ferry port of Os lies in Norway, south of Bergen in Vestland county. The berth is in the centre of Osøyro. From here you reach Bergen. A ferry leaves up to 3 times a day. The crossing takes around 1.25 hours. The port is served by Rødne Fjord Cruise.

Getting there and the terminal

The quay is in the middle of Osøyro and can be reached on foot from the town centre. Os is not an endpoint of its own but an intermediate call: this is where Rødne's Hardangerfjord Express stops, running from Bergen via Os and on to Rosendal on the Hardangerfjord. In Bergen this boat leaves from Strandkaiterminalen, the fast-boat terminal in the city centre, and on its way south it also calls at Bergen Flesland airport. For the trip to Bergen that means you arrive in the middle of the city without changing, and anyone flying on gets off at the airport. The full route to Rosendal takes just under two hours, and the section as far as Os correspondingly less. Tickets are available on board, at the tourist information office in Bergen or in advance from the operator.
