The ferry port of Othoni lies on the island of Othonoi in the regional unit of Corfu and therefore belongs to the Ionian Islands. Othonoi is one of the Diapontia Islands, which lie north-west of Corfu in open water. From here you can reach Ereikoussa, Corfu and Mathraki. Together the services add up to as many as 6 departures a day. Crossings take between 30 minutes and 3.75 hours. The port is served by Kerkyra Lines.
Getting there and the terminal
The berth is called Ammos and is the island's harbour. There is no second ferry berth: if you are heading for Othonoi, this is where you arrive, whether from Corfu or from the neighbouring islands. Ammos is also the place where the island's life happens, so you do not step ashore at some remote mole but in the middle of the village.
It is 43 nautical miles to Corfu. Kerkyra Lines uses the Evdokia on the route and calls at the neighbouring islands of Ereikoussa and Mathraki on the way to Corfu. The trip therefore takes noticeably longer than the distance suggests, and if you are only going as far as Mathraki you are there in half an hour.
