- Port of Ozamiz, Panguil-Bucht (PPA, Port Management Office Misamis Occidental)
The ferry port of Ozamiz City is on Mindanao in the Philippines, on Panguil Bay in the north-west of the island. From here you can reach Cebu City, Manila and Siargao. Together the routes run up to 5 departures a day. Crossings take between 10.5 and 30 hours. The port is served by 2GO Travel and Trans Asia Shipping Lines.
Getting there and the terminal
The port belongs to the Philippine Ports Authority, which runs its Port Management Office for Misamis Occidental here; Ozamiz City is its base port. It lies on the edge of Ozamiz City and is therefore close enough that you need no long-distance transport to get into town.
Besides the long overnight runs to Manila and Cebu, short crossings also leave from here to nearby Iligan and to Lazi on Siquijor. Jeepneys do not run in Ozamiz City, which is too small for them; you get from the port into the centre and back by tricycle or pedicab (Trans-Asia Shipping Lines).
Check-in
2GO Travel requires you to be at the check-in desk at least four hours before departure; the boarding gate closes an hour before departure. That is the strictest published requirement of the two operators here, so it is the one to plan by. Bring your printed ticket and photo ID.
