Tenderboot-Anleger Paradise Cove, Naukacuvu

The ferry port of Paradise Cove lies in Fiji, on the island of Naukacuvu in the Yasawa Islands. From here you reach Denarau. A ferry leaves up to 2 times a day. The crossing takes around 2.75 hours. The port is served by South Sea Cruises.

Getting there and the terminal

Naukacuvu belongs to the Manta Ray area of the Yasawas; the berth is the resort's own and carries its name. There is no pier for the catamaran. South Sea Cruises makes clear itself that most resorts have no quay access and that the way from ship to shore is covered in small tenders, in the course of which you can get wet feet. Anyone with wheeled suitcases will notice it first.

The counterpart on the mainland is Port Denarau near Nadi. The Yasawa Flyer leaves there at 8:45 am, and in the evening a bus goes back from the port towards Nadi at about 6:15 pm. A shuttle bus leaves Nadi at 7:15 am; it has to be booked in advance.

Check-in

You have to be at the South Sea Cruises desk in the Port Denarau terminal no later than 30 minutes before departure. On Naukacuvu itself there is neither a desk nor any handling: there the resort arranges the tender out to the waiting catamaran.
