The ferry port of Pesaro lies on the Adriatic coast of the Marche region, with the berth belonging to the Pantano district. From here you cross to Croatia: to Mali Losinj on the island of the same name and to Novalja on Pag. The catamaran to Mali Losinj runs on around two days of the week and takes 3.5 hours for the trip; Novalja is called at on about one day of the week, and the crossing then takes 5.5 hours. Together the routes add up to as many as 4 departures a day. The port is served by Gomo Viaggi.
Getting there and the terminal
Boarding is at the Stazione Marittima of the port: Calata Caio Duilio, on the corner of Viale Trieste. Gomo Viaggi also has the desk there where you get your boarding pass and where you report if you booked online. The operator's second Italian departure point lies in Cesenatico at the Molo di Levante, and it plays no part for Pesaro.
Check-in
Check-in here is not a formality but the precondition for the boarding pass. Gomo Viaggi therefore asks you to be at the port one hour before the scheduled departure. Boarding closes 15 minutes before departure; anyone arriving later is left behind.
