Polace ferry port lies on the southern Dalmatian island of Mljet in Dubrovnik-Neretva county. From here you can reach four destinations: Sobra on Mljet itself in half an hour, Korcula in 45 minutes, Dubrovnik in 1.75 hours and Ubli on Lastovo in 2.25 hours. Together the services run up to 8 departures a day. The port is served by TP Line.
Getting there and the terminal
Polace is one of the three official entrances to Mljet National Park, alongside Pomena and Vrbovica. If you are heading for the park, this is the right place to get off. The TP Line catamaran calls at Polace on the route that links Dubrovnik with Ubli on Lastovo via Sipanska Luka, Sobra and Korcula; this vessel does not carry vehicles.
Check-in
TP Line asks you to be at the landing stage at least 15 minutes before departure. Tickets are sold on board as long as seats are available. In July and August the operator's web shop is the safe option, because the catamarans are regularly fully booked then.
