Porto Santo ferry port is on Porto Santo in Portugal. The berth lies in the Serra de Fora district. From here you can reach Funchal. A ferry leaves up to 2 times a day. The crossing takes around 2.5 hours. The port is served by Porto Santo Line.

Getting there and the terminal

The berth is called Porto de Abrigo and lies outside the centre of Vila Baleira. The Lobo Marinho arrives and departs here daily, and cruise ships tie up at the Cais do Molhe as well. The operator keeps two points of contact on the island: an office in Vila Baleira on the Rua D. Estevão de Alencastre, open on weekdays, and a desk in the passenger terminal that opens one hour before each departure. On the other side the ship sails from the southern harbour of Funchal.

Check-in

Porto Santo Line requires foot passengers to be in the passenger terminal no later than 30 minutes before the scheduled departure. If you are taking a vehicle, you have to be at the vehicle deck an hour before departure. You need an identity document to board: a citizen card, national identity card, passport or driving licence.
