Pythagorio ferry port lies on the south coast of Samos and looks east and south: from here you can reach 14 destinations, among them Kuşadası in Turkey in an hour, Agathonisi in 30 minutes, Fournoi in an hour and Agios Kirikos on Ikaria in 1.5 hours. Into the Dodecanese it continues to Patmos, Lipsi, Arki, Leros, Kalymnos, Kos and Astypalea, with journey times of up to 9.25 hours. Together the services run up to 33 departures a day. The port is served by Dodekanisos Seaways, Ido, Meander Travel and SAOS Ferries.
Check-in
Dodekanisos Seaways, which serves the port most frequently, requires in its conditions of carriage that you be at the ship 60 minutes before the scheduled departure, on foot as well as with a vehicle. Anyone who misses the departure has no claim to a refund. When boarding you need an identity card or a passport as well as your ticket; for the trip to Kuşadası a passport is compulsory, because the crossing goes across an external EU border. The operator is represented locally by the Dodekanisos Services agency in Pythagorio.
