Salem ferry port is in the US state of Massachusetts. From here you can reach Boston. A ferry leaves up to 8 times a day. The crossing takes around 45 minutes. The port is served by Boston Harbor City Cruises.
Getting there and the terminal
The terminal stands at Salem Wharf on Blaney Street, at number 10. The car park there is free, but expressly reserved for ferry passengers and marina users; it is no good as long-stay parking for a stroll around town. From there you are quickly in the town centre on foot, with its shops, restaurants and museums, and the House of the Seven Gables is very close by. In Boston the ferry berths at Long Wharf, address 66 Long Wharf. Ramps at both berths make boarding possible with a wheelchair or a pushchair. The service is seasonal: it runs from spring until 31 October, with the Halloween season as its peak. A reservation is not compulsory, but strongly recommended on October weekends.
