The ferry port of Santa Teresa di Gallura lies at the northern tip of Sardinia on the Strait of Bonifacio. From here you can reach Bonifacio on Corsica. Ferries leave up to 14 times a day. The crossing takes around 45 minutes. The port is served by Ichnusa Lines and Moby Lines.

Getting there and the terminal

The ships leave from the Banchina La Punzesa, the ferry quay of Santa Teresa Gallura. Moby describes the way there as signposted once you have reached the town; the operator's ticket office sits right on the quay.

Check-in

How early you have to be there depends, with Moby, on the season and on the vehicle. Foot passengers should be at the port an hour before departure between 1 June and 30 September, while 30 minutes is enough from October to May. With a vehicle a 90-minute lead time applies all year round. The crossing to Corsica goes over a national border: all travellers, including minors, need a valid original identity document.
