Ports and terminals

City port

Terminals
Check-in-Schalter der einzelnen Reedereien an der Jalan Matahari Terbit, Sanur Kaja, Denpasar Selatan (u. a. Pertokoan Arcade, Jl. Matahari Terbit 4)

Sanur, on the east coast of Bali, is the departure point for the speedboats to the offshore islands. Seven destinations are served: Nusa Penida and Nusa Lembongan are half an hour away, the Gili Islands and Bangsal on Lombok three to four hours. Together the services run up to 198 departures a day, and crossings take between 30 minutes and 3.75 hours. 18 operators call at the port, among them Arjuna Fast Cruise, Arthamas Express and D'stars Fast Ferry.

Getting there and the terminal

Passenger handling is split between the operators: each runs its own check-in desk, and these desks are on Jalan Matahari Terbit in the Sanur Kaja district of Denpasar Selatan. Arthamas Express is in the Pertokoan Arcade parade of shops at Jalan Matahari Terbit 4, and Rocky Fast Cruise is on the same street. Before you set off, check which operator is named on your ticket and exactly where its desk is: the addresses are close together but not the same. The operators do not publish binding information on check-in deadlines in any consistent way; ask when you book how early you should be at the desk.
