FRS Clipper Terminal, 2701 Alaskan Way, Pier 69

Seattle ferry port lies on the city's waterfront in the north-west of the United States. From here you can reach Victoria on Vancouver Island in Canada. A ferry leaves up to 2 times a day and the crossing takes around 2.75 hours. The service is operated by FRS Clipper.

Getting there and the terminal

Seattle has several ferry berths, so it is worth checking the pier number. FRS Clipper uses a terminal of its own on the northern waterfront: 2701 Alaskan Way at Pier 69, between Pier 70 and the Edgewater Hotel. By rail you take Sound Transit's Line 1 to Westlake Station and use the C exits. King County Metro bus routes 1, 4, 5, 13, 17, 24 and 28 stop around four blocks east of the pier.

If you come by car and want to leave it behind, park diagonally opposite in the Bell Street Pier Garage at 9 Wall Street. It is open daily from 6am to 11pm, the entrance height is limited to 6 feet 6 inches, and FRS Clipper passengers get a special rate, for which you receive a voucher on board. On the other side the ship berths right in Victoria's Inner Harbour, at 470 Belleville Street. There is a car park within walking distance there too, at 463 Belleville Street.
