The ferry port of Senggigi is on Lombok in Indonesia, on the west coast of the island. From here you can reach 4 destinations, among them Padang Bai, Nusa Penida and Nusa Lembongan. Together the services add up to as many as 19 departures a day. Crossings take between 1.5 and 3 hours. The port is served by Bali Eka Jaya, Semaya One Fast Cruise and Wahana Virendra.
Getting there and the terminal
The berth is at the edge of Senggigi bay, right in the town's stretch of beach. If you are staying in one of the Senggigi hotels you walk there, and that is the real advantage of this port over Bangsal or Teluk Nare further north: no lead time, no transfer.
From Mataram, the largest town on Lombok, it is 15 to 20 minutes to the north. Lombok airport near Praya, by contrast, is in the south of the island, around 55 kilometres away and a good hour and a half by car; if you are coming from there, set the morning aside for it. The port operates daily from 9:00 in the morning until the evening. The fast boats to Bali and the Gili Islands run within those hours.
