Ferries to Serangan

Getting there and the terminal

Serangan is not a district of Sanur or Kuta but a small island of its own off the south of Bali. If you look for your departure under "Bali" in general, you can easily end up at the wrong berth. Gili Getaway, one of the operators here, gives its terminal address as Jalan Tukad Punggawa 25 in Serangan, Denpasar Selatan; passengers are handled in a waiting area with seats and a restaurant.

The same operator serves not only Gili Trawangan, Gili Air and Lombok from here but also Gili Gede, Gili Asahan and Nusa Penida. That explains the spread of journey times in the timetable: Nusa Penida is a good three quarters of an hour away, while northern Lombok and the Gili islands mean around three hours on board. The most frequent services are to Bangsal on Lombok and Gili Trawangan, with up to twelve sailings a day each.
