Shenzhen ferry port lies in the Pearl River Delta in China. From here you can reach Macao. Up to 6 ferries leave each day. The crossing takes about an hour. The port is served by TurboJet.

Getting there and the terminal

Shenzhen has two TurboJet check-in points, and mixing them up is the mistake that costs money here. The service to Macao runs from the Shekou Cruise Centre, officially the Shenzhen Prince Bay Cruise Homeport, on 1st Haiyun Road in Nanshan District. The second terminal is at Shenzhen airport and is linked to the departure halls by a shuttle bus taking about ten minutes. Check which one your ticket names before you set off.

The easiest way to the Shekou Cruise Centre is metro line 2 to Shekou Port station; exit C brings you out at the terminal, next to a taxi rank and a bus station with services across the city. A free shuttle links the building with the old Shekou Ferry Terminal. Check-in is open daily from 7.00 to 22.30.

Check-in

TurboJet asks you to be on board no later than 30 minutes before departure. You will need that time: there is a border between Shenzhen and Macao, and the operator's staff check documents before you step on the ship.
