Sifnos ferry port is on Sifnos in Greece, in the harbour village of Kamares on the west coast of the Cycladic island. From here you can reach 20 destinations, among them Milos, Serifos and Piraeus. Together the services add up to as many as 64 departures a day. Crossings take between 15 minutes and 9.25 hours: Serifos is a quarter of an hour away, Heraklion on Crete half a day. The port is served by Cyclades Fast Ferries, Hellenic Seaways, Magic Sea Ferries and SeaJets.

Getting there and the terminal

Kamares is the main port of the island and lies on the south side of a deeply cut bay on the west coast. Handling is spread across the travel agencies and the port authority on the waterfront road, which also has car hire desks, shops and tavernas. It is a few minutes' walk there from the berth. Apollonia, the main town of the island, is inland and therefore not on the water.

Check-in

Hellenic Seaways asks you to be in the boarding area at least one hour before departure, on foot as well as with a vehicle. Because several ships share the same mole, check the name of the ship when you board and not just the time.
