Sogndal ferry port lies on the Sognefjord in Norway. The berth lies in the Sogndalsfjøra district. From here you can reach 10 destinations, among them Balestrand, Bergen and Lavik. Together the services run up to 18 departures a day. Crossings take between 30 minutes and 4.75 hours. The port is served by Norled.
Getting there and the terminal
Sogndal is served by Norled's express boats. From 1 April to 31 October the Bergen - Balestrand - Sogndal - Flåm line applies, and outside those months a separate winter timetable covers the Bergen - Sogn route. Check before booking which of the two applies to your travel date. Norled also runs car ferries on the Sognefjord on its own routes, among them Mannheller - Fodnes, Lavik - Oppedal and Hella - Vangsnes - Dragsvik.
