Ferries to Sollibotn

Sollibotn ferry port is in Norway, in the municipality of Gulen on the coast of Vestland. From here you can reach 18 destinations, among them Balestrand, Bergen and Leikanger. Getting there and the terminal

Sollibotn is not a place with a harbour quarter but an express boat landing stage. The lines from Bergen, from the Sognefjord and from the Nordfjord meet here, which explains why so many destinations hang on a single stretch of quay. Eivindvik, the administrative seat of Gulen municipality, is around two kilometres away: arrive without your own vehicle and that distance is yours to cover.

In the timetable of the Skyss transport authority, Sollibotn is a fixed call on the Bergen-Sogndal line. The same timetable expressly advises booking a ticket in advance and marks individual calls on the line as request stops: the boat puts in there only if passengers want it, and if you want to board you have to phone the vessel beforehand. On a route with that logic, booking ahead is not a comfort but the basis of your planning.
