Spodsbjerg ferry port lies on the east coast of the Danish island of Langeland, in the Region of Southern Denmark. It is the short link between Langeland and Lolland, and the shortcut that saves you the long way round via Funen and the Great Belt Bridge. From here you can reach Taars, up to 36 times a day, and the crossing takes about 45 minutes. The route is operated by Langelandslinjen.

Getting there and the terminal

The port is at Ny Spodsbjergvej 339B, 5900 Rudkøbing. There is parking at the harbour itself: short-stay and long-stay spaces are by the operator's office on Spodsbjergvej, opposite the ferry terminal. That is where to leave your car if you want to tour the island without it.

Check-in

Langelandslinjen expects you at the port 15 minutes before departure, and that applies to vehicles and foot passengers alike. If you travel with a walking aid or need help boarding, report 30 minutes before departure. With 36 departures a day, a missed ferry is no disaster; the next one is not far off.
