Taars ferry port lies on the west coast of the Danish island of Lolland, in Region Zealand, and is the counterpart to Spodsbjerg on Langeland. From here you can reach Spodsbjerg, up to 36 times a day, and the crossing takes about 45 minutes. The route is operated by Langelandslinjen. For travellers heading from Zealand or southern Denmark to Funen, it is the relaxed alternative to the motorway.

Getting there and the terminal

The ferry port is at Spodsbjergvej 20, 4912 Harpelund. You park at the service centre at the same address, so right by the berth; that is also where you get tickets and information. Do not expect a terminal building on any scale here: Taars is a plain ferry berth in thinly populated countryside, with the nearest villages a few kilometres away.

Check-in

Langelandslinjen requires you to be at the port 15 minutes before departure, for vehicles and foot passengers alike. If you need help boarding, report 30 minutes before departure.
