Abfertigung am Passagierterminal Port Denarau (Schalter South Sea Cruises)

Treasure Island ferry port is in Fiji. From here you can reach Denarau. Up to 6 ferries leave each day. The crossing takes about 45 minutes. The port is served by South Sea Cruises.

Getting there and the terminal

Treasure Island is not a settlement with a harbour but a tiny reef islet in the Mamanuca group, also listed under the names Lovuka and Elovuka and taken up entirely by a single resort. You therefore arrange your arrival not around the berth on the island but around the mainland side: Port Denarau near Nadi on Viti Levu. That is where the passenger terminal stands, and where South Sea Cruises has its desk.

For the trip to the terminal the operator offers pre-booked shared transfers from most hotels in Nadi, Wailoaloa and on Denarau. This has to be arranged beforehand: pick-ups must be registered at least 24 hours before travel. Ask only on the day of departure and you will be organising your own taxi.

Check-in

South Sea Cruises requires check-in at its own desk in the Port Denarau terminal 30 minutes before departure. Allow, too, for the fact that many Mamanuca resorts have no jetty and the last few metres are covered by tender; wet feet are part of it, according to the operator. Waterproof luggage and sturdy sandals are not over-cautious here.
