The ferry port of Ustica is on the island of the same name, around 50 kilometres off the north coast of Sicily. The only destination is Palermo, with up to 10 sailings a day, and the crossing takes around 1.5 hours. The port is served by Liberty Lines and Siremar.
Getting there and the terminal
Ships berth at the Molo Ex Sirena. The ticket desk of the Salvatore Militello agency is at the harbour at Piazza Cap. V. Di Bartolo 15 and is open daily from 9.30am to 1pm and from 3pm to 6.30pm. The island's second berth is at Cala Santa Maria; your ticket says which one applies.
On the other side, in Palermo, the ships dock at the Banchina Piave and the Banchina Vittorio Veneto. The port can be reached from the centre by taxi and city bus, and it is around 15 minutes on foot from the main railway station.
Check-in
According to the operator, the ticket desk at the harbour is staffed from at least 90 minutes before every departure. Neither Liberty Lines nor Siremar publishes a fixed check-in deadline in minutes for Ustica.
