The Venice San Marco landing stage lies in the historic centre of Venice. From here you can reach 4 destinations, among them Punta Sabbioni, Burano and Murano. Together the services run up to 17 departures a day. Crossings take between 15 and 45 minutes. The landing stage is served by Consorzio Vidali Group.

Getting there and the terminal

San Marco is not a harbour basin but a landing stage in the middle of the city. Consorzio Vidali Group departs from the Caserma Cornoldi on the Riva degli Schiavoni, a few steps from Piazza San Marco. The stop takes its name from the barracks it stands in front of. You cannot get there by car: the way is on foot or over the water.

The trips into the lagoon are fixed departures, not a continuous line. The afternoon round to Murano, Burano and Torcello, for instance, leaves at 2:30 pm and is back at the Caserma Cornoldi at about 7 pm. Allow enough time, because if you miss a departure at the Riva degli Schiavoni you wait for the next fixed sailing.
