The ferry port of Ventotene lies on Ventotene, the smallest inhabited island of the Pontine Islands in the Tyrrhenian Sea. From here you can reach Ischia and Ponza in around 45 minutes each, and Naples in about 1.75 hours. Together the services add up to as many as 6 departures a day. Crossings therefore take between just under an hour and just under two hours. The port is served by SNAV.

Getting there and the terminal

The berth is called Porto Nuovo. The sales point in the harbour gives its address as Via Porto Nuovo 2 and sits directly on the basin. It is less than half a kilometre from the quay to the village centre, and you walk that stretch.

Besides the services bookable here, the island is also called at by the state-contracted route from the mainland port of Formia. That crossing is not listed on this page and has to be booked separately.

There is no published check-in deadline for Ventotene; the operator gives neither a fixed time nor parking areas for the port. So be at the quay early. The times for the day are in the timetable further down this page.
