- 470 Belleville Street, Inner Harbour
Victoria ferry port lies at the southern tip of Vancouver Island in the Canadian province of British Columbia. From here you can reach Seattle in the United States. Up to 2 ships leave each day, and the crossing takes about 2.75 hours. The route is operated by FRS Clipper.
Getting there and the terminal
The catamaran to Seattle docks in the middle of the city: the operator gives the terminal address as 470 Belleville Street on Victoria's Inner Harbour, about a block from the Hotel Grand Pacific. That puts you straight in the city centre, and you will usually not need any transport to get from the ship to your accommodation. For overnight parking, the operator points to the Hotel Grand Pacific one street away and to commercial car parks nearby.
Check-in
Be at the terminal at least an hour before departure. In Victoria, US border control starts no later than an hour before departure, and boarding follows only after that. Final boarding is 20 minutes before departure; miss it and you forfeit your place and your ticket, according to the operator. Travellers from countries in the US Visa Waiver Programme need valid ESTA authorisation before they arrive at the terminal in Victoria.
