Port Denarau Terminal (Abfertigung)

Vomo Island Resort ferry port is in Fiji, between the Mamanuca and the Yasawa Islands. From here you can reach Denarau on the main island of Viti Levu in about 1.25 hours. Up to 2 ships leave each day, seven days a week. The island is served by South Sea Cruises.

Getting there and the terminal

The starting point on the main island is Port Denarau. All of the operator's resort transfers to the Mamanuca and Yasawa Islands run from there, out and back daily. Expect not to tie up at a quay on the island side: the operator states explicitly that most resorts have no jetty for the catamaran and that the stretch from ship to shore is covered in smaller tenders. Luggage is transferred as well, so waterproof packing for anything delicate is worth it.

Check-in

You check in at the South Sea Cruises desk in the Port Denarau terminal, 30 minutes before the ship leaves. This deadline applies to all of the operator's resort transfers, so to the return trip to the main island too.
