Wando is the largest island in the county of the same name in the South Korean province of Jeollanam-do, and its administrative seat as well. From here Hanil Express sails to Jeju. Up to 6 ships leave each day, and the crossing takes about 2.75 hours. The Gold Stella and the Silver Cloud work the route, the departures are spread across the whole day, and the earliest is in the middle of the night.
Check-in
Hanil Express recommends being at the terminal at least an hour before the departure time. The ticket desk closes 30 minutes before departure, and anyone who misses the boarding deadline does not get on. Allow generous time in particular if you intend to buy a ticket on the spot.
