The Alcúdia ferry port is in the north of Mallorca, with the landing point in the Port d'Alcúdia district. The main connection runs to Ciutadella on Menorca: a 1.25-hour crossing, daily and several times a day. There are also connections to Mahón on Menorca, Barcelona on the mainland, and Sète and Toulon in southern France. Together the connections add up to as many as 17.5 departures a day, with crossings taking between 1.25 and 16 hours. The port is served by Balearia, Corsica Ferries, Menorca Lines and Trasmed.

Getting there and the terminal

The port authority Ports de Balears lists the port's address as Moll de Pescadors s/n, 07410 Alcúdia. It's divided into a commercial harbour and an area for fishing and pleasure boats; scheduled ferries are handled via the Estació Marítima on the commercial quay, while the Barcelona connection uses the extended Moll de Ponent. It's around a kilometre to the centre of Port d'Alcúdia and around 50 kilometres to the airport. That makes Alcúdia the short trip for anyone staying in the north of the island, and the long one for everyone else: if you're coming from Palma, allow time for the drive across the island.

The shipping companies don't publish binding check-in deadlines for Alcúdia. The deadline is printed on your ticket, and it differs between foot passengers and vehicles.
