Bangkok Suvarnabhumi International Airport ferry port is in Thailand. From here you can reach Koh Kood and Koh Chang, both in the province of Trat in the east of the country. Together the services run up to 7 departures a day. Crossings take between 6 and 7.25 hours. The port is served by Seudamgo.

Getting there and the terminal

The airport is not a berth, and strictly speaking it is not in Bangkok either: Suvarnabhumi belongs to the Bang Phli district in the neighbouring province of Samut Prakan, east of the capital. What is listed here as a connection is a through-booked transfer. Seudamgo combines bus, van and songthaew with catamaran, trimaran and speedboat: the first part of the route runs overland to the east coast, and only there do you board a boat. The times in the route list are therefore total journey times from the airport to the island, not the duration of a crossing. If you book this way, schedule your flight early enough for the land leg to connect with the boat's departure slot. On Koh Kood the operator has an office at Ao Salad Pier, and on the mainland one at Laem Sok near Trat.
