Cangas ferry port lies in Cangas de Morrazo on the Ría de Vigo in Galicia. From here you can reach the Cíes Islands, with up to 11.5 departures a day. The crossing takes around an hour. The port is served by Mar de Ons and Naviera Nabia.
Getting there and the terminal
Passengers are handled at the Estación Marítima in Cangas. Naviera Nabia runs Taquilla 3 there, behind the building's cafeteria; Mar de Ons has a point of contact in Cangas at Avenida de Castelao 2. All passengers must have their booking printed at the counter before boarding. That is also where you find out which pontoon your boat leaves from for your route.
Public parking at the port is scarce, above all in July and August. Naviera Nabia therefore advises arriving half an hour earlier so that the search for a space does not cost you the sailing.
Check-in
Boarding starts 15 minutes before the scheduled departure (Naviera Nabia). Anyone who has not collected their ticket from the counter by then will not be allowed on board. The counters open only on days when sailings take place.
