Costa Calma lies in the south of Fuerteventura. The listed ferry destination from here is the Isla de Lobos, the nature reserve off the northern tip of the island. Up to 2 departures a day appear in the timetable, and the journey takes around 2.25 hours. It is operated by Ferry Isla De Lobos.
Getting there and the terminal
No boat to Lobos leaves from Costa Calma itself. Ferry Isla de Lobos runs its fleet from the port of Corralejo at the northern tip of Fuerteventura, and the actual crossing from there to Lobos takes only 15 to 20 minutes. What the operator sells from the south of the island is a combination of bus and ferry: the transfer picks you up in the south and takes you across the island to the port of Corralejo. The journey time of around 2.25 hours given in the timetable therefore covers mainly the road section, not the sea crossing.
For your planning that means: with a hire car you are better off driving straight to Corralejo and saving yourself the detour. If you take the transfer, have the pick-up point and time confirmed by the operator in advance. The same service is also listed in this directory from Caleta de Fuste, likewise as a combination of bus and boat.
