Together the services add up to as many as 225 departures a day. Crossings take between 30 minutes and 11.75 hours. 6 operators call at the port, among them Lomlahkkhirin, Lomprayah High Speed Ferries and Raja Ferry.
Getting there and the terminal
The island has more than one berth, and your ticket decides which one applies. The main pier is at the main town of Thong Sala on the west coast; there Seatran Discovery lists Thong Sala Pier and, beside it, Songserm Thong Sala Pier as separate landing points. A second pier is at Haad Rin on the southern tip, the Haad Rin Queen Pier, and it is used by only some of the services. Thong Sala and Haad Rin are at opposite ends of the island, so check the departure point on your ticket before you order a taxi.
