Koh Nang Yuan Island ferry port is in Thailand. From here you can reach 4 destinations: Koh Phangan in 1.25 hours, Koh Samui in 1.75 hours, Chumphon on the mainland in 1.5 hours and Bangkok Khao San in 9.75 hours. Together the services run up to 13 departures a day. The port is served by Lomprayah High Speed Ferries.
Getting there and the terminal
Koh Nang Yuan is a tiny group of islands just off Koh Tao, and the landing stage is correspondingly small. A few Lomprayah catamarans call at Nang Yuan directly, but most travellers first arrive at Mae Haad Pier on Koh Tao and cross over from there. The trip by longtail boat from Mae Haad or from Sairee Beach takes about 10 to 20 minutes. Guests of the island resort use its own transfer boat. In the high season between December and April the fast boats to Koh Tao are often fully booked, so booking ahead is a must rather than an option.
