Terminals
Bangrak Tourism Port, Moo 4, Bezirk Bophut, Koh Samui (Anschrift der Seatran-Discovery-Check-in-Station); kein Terminalgebaeude, Abfertigung am Reedereischalter

Koh Samui ferry port at Bangrak Pier lies in the north-east of the island and mainly serves the fast catamarans into the Gulf of Thailand. From here you can reach 10 destinations, among them Ko Phangan, Donsak and Surat Thani. Together the services run up to 139 departures a day. Crossings take between 15 minutes and 7.75 hours. The port is served by Lomlahkkhirin, Raja Ferry, Seatran Discovery and Songserm.

Getting there and the terminal

Seatran Discovery gives the address of its check-in station as Bangrak Tourism Port, Moo 4 in the Bophut subdistrict. The berth is therefore in the north-east of the island and not at the main town of Nathon on the west coast, where the same operator runs a second station. There is no terminal building in the European sense; you check in at the desk of the relevant operator.

On Koh Samui almost every operator has its own berth, and the names are similar. Alongside Bangrak, Seatran Discovery also lists Maenam Pralarn Pier and several handling points in Nathon. So check the berth on your ticket before you order a taxi. That applies especially to vehicles: Raja Ferry, which runs the car ferries from Donsak, names Lipa Noi as its berth for Koh Samui.
