The ferry port of Lobos is on the small island of Lobos in Spain, north-east of Fuerteventura. From here you can reach 4 destinations, among them Corralejo, Caleta de Fuste and Costa Calma. Together the services add up to as many as 19 departures a day. Crossings take between 15 minutes and 3.25 hours. The port is served by Ferry Isla De Lobos and Naviera Nortour.
Getting there and the terminal
The berth is called El Puertito and is the island's only landing place: a small cluster of old fishermen's houses, and nothing else. The visitor centre of the nature reserve stands by the jetty, and beyond it you continue on foot.
At the other end the boats leave from the Puerto de Corralejo in the north of Fuerteventura. Naviera Nortour keeps its office right at the harbour entrance, next to the bar "La Lonja". The services from Caleta de Fuste, Costa Calma and Morro Jable run only on individual days of the week; the frequent shuttle is the short crossing from Corralejo.
Check-in
For Lobos a visitor permit is a compulsory part of the ticket. It is issued online by the Cabildo de Fuerteventura and applies to one of two time slots: mornings from 10:00 to 14:00 or afternoons from 14:00 to 18:00. Without that permit you do not get on board. Many providers at the port of Corralejo apply for it along with the ticket.
